For Les Gourmands, breakfast is no joke. Breakfast is synonym of strength and it’s in
your own interest to have a powerful one !
At 280 5th Street, in the laboratory, every single viennoiserie is fresh, authentic and
homemade with a french savoir-faire. The ingredients are locally supplied, organic and
each piece is shaped by hand respecting the artisan style. All of the products you will
find at Les Gourmands are based on family recipes; you could enjoy a range of 20ish
products as croissants, croissants aux amandes (almond croissant), chaussons aux
pommes, brioches, Parisians chouquettes and many more.
Les Gourmands is a family affair. Sylvain -CEO at Les Gourmands- followed the footsteps
of his father who, himself, did the same and so on. Sylvain is the 5th generation of
bakers, it's as if he was born in the bakery. He travelled to San Francisco with his
parents, bringing and sharing the heritage of french baking.
Beyond the savoir-faire, Les Gourmands wants to embody the Art of Living. The brand
identity and the shops are designed by Nairone.
Nairone is a french artist born in north of France in the early 90’s.
He started drawing when he was a child and he discovered art through his passion
for skateboards. The pop art was very inspiring for Nairone
especially Roy Lichtenstein’s work which connects with the popular imagery of the time.
Today, he collaborates with Les Gourmands as they both have the same values :
